Director of Giving Strategies

Christine Burghoff directs and manages the Foundation’s Gift Planning Program. Her primary focus is cultivating relationships that help individuals and families establish current and deferred philanthropic funds, legacy gifts and charitable giving strategic plans. As such, Christine works closely with professional advisors and their clients to identify, create and provide charitable planning options tailored to achieve specific philanthropic goals. 

Christine joined the Foundation in September 2010 bringing with her more than 30 years of legal and nonprofit development experience. 

She served in legal positions with Mercantile Trust Co.,Centerre Trust and A.G. Edwards and  practiced estate planning law with Suelthuas, Kaplan.  After that, Christine worked in development in the nonprofit community serving as Director of Planned Giving at Saint Louis University and Director of Advancement at St. Francis Borgia HS. 

She is a member of the MO Bar and St. Louis Estate Planning Council. Christine earned her JD degree from Saint Louis University School of Law and a Bachelor of Science degree from Truman State University.
