Ever wonder how much charitable-minded St. Louisans can give to local nonprofits in a single day of online, coordinated giving?
We’re going to find out on Tuesday, May 6, when the Greater Saint Louis Community Foundation, with support from the Saint Louis Business Journal, U.S. Bank, the Lutheran Foundation of St. Louis, the Incarnate Word Foundation, and Clifton Larson Allen hosts St. Louis’ first-ever Give STL Day.
Give STL Day is an opportunity for St. Louis area nonprofits to rally their donors, identify new ones, and urge them all to visit GiveSTLday.org on May 6 to make a contribution of $10 or more to the charity of their choice. “Give Day” activities in other communities around the country have raised as much as $1 million for their local charities, and we’re going to see what St. Louis can do on May 6.
To register, nonprofits are encouraged to visit giveSTLday.org and click on the “Nonprofit Registration.” In the coming weeks, the Community Foundation, our charity partners, and supporters will be working hard to rally community awareness and support.
