Besides being located in St. Louis, what do the Invest STL, Blueprint4SummerSTL and St. Louis Graduates have in common?
Answer: They are all community-based initiatives housed at the St. Louis Community Foundation!
What does this mean exactly? It means that in addition to working with donors directly on their charitable goals, the Community Foundation also works with community groups that may or may not be nonprofits but are looking to make positive changes in the region.
The Community Foundation serves as a neutral convener, a backbone organization and a fiscal sponsor for many of our regions initiatives where multiple nonprofits are coming together to make our region stronger.
Currently, we help as the fiscal sponsor for Blueprint4SummerSTL, a free mobile tool (Blueprint4Summer.com) that helps connect families with enriching camp experiences during critical summer months. We are also working with schools and nonprofits that are raising the bar for high school and college completion rates for our region’s young people through St. Louis Graduates.
In addition to these, we have approximately 10 other initiatives we provide back office and administrative support to including our most recent grassroots movement, Invest STL. Invest STL is a regional community and economic development system.
